We are currently seeking candidates for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Coordinator, covering the Tweed to Ballina region in New South Wales. This crucial role will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in NSW under our Smart and Skilled Contract.
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with and reporting to the General Manager - Business Development.
We are looking for candidates who bring energy, initiative, and a strong drive to excel in the education industry. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with a background in sales within the education sector or those currently employed in the Registered Training Organisation who are eager to take their careers to the next level.
Your primary responsibilities in this role will encompass a range of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Establishing and Cultivating Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local schools, employers, and Australian Apprenticeship Support Networks.
- Facilitating School-Based Traineeships: Play a pivotal role in facilitating school-based traineeships, ensuring a seamless process for all stakeholders involved.
- Proactive Sales Lead Management: Actively follow up on sales leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to converting leads into successful partnerships.
- Identifying Growth Opportunities: Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Tweed to Ballina region, contributing to our growth strategy.
- Participating in Promotional Activities: Engage in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities as necessary to raise awareness and promote our services.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

- Self-motivation and a drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A current driver's license and reliable vehicle. Travel is a requirement of this position.
- A current QLD Blue Card (or the ability to promptly obtain one upon successful appointment).
