We have a newly created opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator in a permanent and full time capacity. The role will be based out of our Barton office with some flexibility around working from home.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will provide analytical, authoring, coordination, and administrative support to Providence’s business development (BD) capability, including the coordination of external marketing.

About the role:
- Conduct market and business scanning and analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support the coordination of Providence involvement in business development activities such as trade shows and networking.
- Coordinating, developing, managing, and submitting simple bid proposal responses.
- Coordinating of collateral required to support major bid proposals, such as CVs (in cooperation with the People and Culture Team), case studies and product statements.
- Managing the production and maintenance of case studies, including conducting interviews with individuals/teams at the conclusion of engagements.
- Monitoring the execution of the Providence Marketing & Communications Strategy; and measuring its effectiveness.
- In consultation with key internal stakeholders and where necessary external experts, coordinate the design, development, execution, and evaluation of external marketing products/artefacts for new services offerings, external events, internal events, and promotions.
- Overseeing the production and distribution of Providence Marketing and Communications collateral (in print, digital and online) and establishing effective business relationships with providers therein.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience:
- Previous Marketing and Communications experience in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in building and managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Experience in government or defence industry, preferably within consulting or professional services.
Skills:
- Well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Well-developed activity management skills.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with good grammar and literacy.
- Ability to successfully verbally and in writing convey (often complex) concepts and ideas to a range of stakeholders to aid their decision-making.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and in desktop publishing software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
