Background
The purpose of the Gateway Network Governance Body (GNGB) is to provide oversight of the Superannuation Transaction Network (STN) ensuring ongoing availability, security and sustainability of the data infrastructure supporting the superannuation system, in a way that manages the interests and priorities of the various stakeholders involved in the STN. Operational responsibilities of the GNGB are the accountability of the Chief Executive Officer, and it is the role of the Marketing and Communications coordinator to support the brand awareness and stakeholder engagement objectives of the organization.
Role Description
This role is being offered as a Part Time 2 days per week equivalent however hours can be flexible for the right applicant. Work mainly at home with the ability to come to the office, if preferred, and at a minimum from time to time for events and team engagement.
The role is responsible for supporting the Marketing and brand administration objectives of GNGB including, but not limited to:
- Further development and maintenance of the stakeholder engagement plan including working with internal teams to update activity to targets and measure outcomes;
- Content creation for stakeholder communications including monthly newsletter, linkedin page (weekly posts) and website;
- Bi-monthly reporting on engagement statistics;
- Brand administration
- Support for member events and engagement opportunities
- Development of internal Marketing and Communications material as require, including the write up of industry forums and guest speaker presentations
- Liaison with external service provider for PR/Media opportunities and possible media monitoring
Expectations of you
- experience in a similar role and/or nearing the end of tertiary education in this area
- superior written communication skills
- effective and consultative communication skills across all levels of stakeholders
- proficient in wordpress and mailchimp (or an appetite to learn quickly!)
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is expected to maintain the following, at all times:
