What we do

Youth Opportunities is a national organisation for-purpose that empowers young people to overcome life’s challenges through the provision of personal leadership programs. We have been delivering these programs for over 25 years and supported more than 15,560 young people.

About the role

As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will play a lead role in the ongoing development and implementation of the brand strategy, marketing communications, and sales marketing tactics, aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement, along with optimising sales acquisition, retention and renewals.

If you are right for this role, you will:

• Have a passion for implementing integrated marketing communication plans focused on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and product sales enquiry, through advertising campaigns, digital & social media communications and events & expo promotions. 
• Demonstrated experience in the production of marketing collateral tailored to various products and audiences
• Have intermediate to advanced skills in use of graphic design software.
• Have intermediate to advanced skills in digital and social media management and Communications. 
• Be a proactive and enthusiastic self-starter with high levels of internal motivation. 
• A good understanding of marketing practices and bringing an evidence-based approach to marketing decision making. 
• Possess the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously with a calm and focused approach.
• Have an eye for attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have awareness and appreciation of youth issues across Australia. 
• Demonstrate a positive personality consistent with the Youth Opportunities ethos of personal leadership.
