Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our products and services. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the marketing team, assisting in various tasks such as market research, content creation, social media management, and event coordination. This is a part-time position based in Wollongong, New South Wales.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing marketing strategies by conducting market research.
2. Create engaging content for various marketing channels such as website blogs, social media posts, email newsletters.
3. Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
4. Coordinate company events including trade shows or promotional activities.
5. Monitor competitors' activities and provide regular reports on industry trends.
6. Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics for online and offline marketing materials.
7. Assist in managing email campaigns by creating templates and analyzing campaign performance metrics.
8. Support the marketing team with administrative tasks such as organizing files or maintaining databases.
Qualifications:
1.Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field preferred but not required.
2.Proven experience working as a Marketing Assistant or similar role is a plus.
3.Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to create compelling content for different platforms.
4.Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
5.Familiarity with basic graphic design tools/software is desirable but not mandatory.
6.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
7.Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis is preferred.
