Our Sales and Marketing division is entering its second year of a 3-year transformation journey, driven by a new strategy and a realigned focus on data, digital and automation. To help us on this exciting journey we are seeking an enthusiastic marketer who wants to take charge of the planning and implementation of our sponsorship, events, media, and promotional campaigns activities. We are looking for a person who can come on board and grow with our brand!
If you get excited by the idea of planning and executing an effective brand presence at community events, and arranging, negotiating and implementing sponsorship activations, then this may be the role for you. If you also like the sound of writing promotional copy for engaging lead generation campaigns and working with key stakeholders to develop media and advertising assets to drive brand awareness, then please apply.
You’ll also work closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist to support ongoing website redevelopment and enhancements, the building of email marketing programs, social media management and more.
Please note that this role will also involve some interstate travel and event attendance, allowing you to engage directly with our members and target audience, including representing Navy Health at various locations as required.
Knowledge and experience requirements- Completed a degree or nearing completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
- Interest in planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and events.
- Enthusiastic about planning, managing and activating a large program of face-to-face and virtual events.
- Interest in negotiating and activating sponsorship agreements.
- Excitement about developing an effective media plan across various publications and digital channels.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to set up and manage projects from end-to-end.
- Ability to deliver compelling and clear marketing messages.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with others to create trust and collaboration.
- Takes full responsibility for all activities and actions; acknowledges and learns from mistakes.
