About the role:
A brand new Marketing Coordinator role has been created to support the business with all general marketing initiatives (digital and traditional) as we continue to grow! You will work closely with the Managing Director and within a Digital team of 5, to deliver an exceptional and industry leading customer experience.
This role will suit an all rounder / generalist, who likes a diverse to do list and has a great understanding of both digital and traditional marketing strategy. This is a fast paced environment and we have a busy marketing calendar – with 4 stores and an online presence, things move quickly.
You will work to foster community engagement and repeat visitation and spend via all channels. As well as seek and create opportunities for growth, exposure and ways to delight our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate closed Facebook Community groups, and oversee community engagement.
- Produce short and long form written content, like blogs, gift guides and informative pieces in collaboration with relevant experts, our internal team (experts) or through your own work.
- Coordinate Influencer and PR opportunities.
- Strategise and execute Local Area Marketing Initiatives, including events, community engagement and promotions. Network with relevant local trader groups, businesses and community groups.
- Coordinate the user experience for our customer happiness initiatives, including loyalty, gift registry, wishlist and free resources.
- Assist with team events and team engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure a seamless customer experience and brand cohesion between stores and digital.
- Reporting and competitor landscape analysis, identifying opportunities for the business.
- Coordinating internal marketing and communications resources.

- You LOVE retail and ecommerce. You shop mindfully, but with an eye for what’s on trend and you have a list of independent retailers you covet.
- You are genuinely excited by our range of products, and sharing them with our customers. You can relate to our audience and can solve their problems by showing how our products will bring joy and ease to their lives.
- You move fast! You can effectively manage multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast paced environment, while delivering great work.
- You are self motivated and love to learn. The industry moves quickly, so a desire to learn, improve, and receive feedback is essential.
Experience we are looking for…
- 2+ years experience in a generalist marketing role, preferably in a retail or ecommerce environment.
- An understand of retail, ecommerce and a product based business.
- Microsoft Office and PC proficient.
- Shopify, Canva and basic graphic design experience.
