Key responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and continuously improving SOCIAL MEDIA content while adhering to web accessibility standards and digital best practices.
Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you'll help promote and strengthen the Department's brand, contributing to our key targets and objectives.
This will involve implementing communication activities and strategies that resonate with our audience and align with our brand identity.
In addition to content creation, you'll play a crucial role in reporting on digital media channel usage and outcomes, providing valuable insights to key personnel.
Your ability to analyze data and trends will inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in our digital content and communications strategies.
Working as part of the Digital Communications team, experience and familiarity with web content management systems (CMS) would be considered favourably.

Desirable:Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or other relevant field.
Experience implementing and meeting WCAG 2.0 guidelines for accessibility.
Experience with Office 365, (specifically Sharepoint and Teams).
Experience with Squiz Matrix CMS and/or other CMS platforms.
Experience with SOCIAL MEDIA platforms.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role.
