About the Opportunity

As part of the Customer & Marketing Team the Marketing Coordinator will support and assist in the delivery of marketing plans across CoA, including the creation and implementation of content creation, digital advertising and campaign management, web maintenance and customer relationship management.

Some of the things you’ll see yourself doing with us are:

• Developing and implementing multi-channel marketing communication plans
• Overseeing and moderating City of Adelaide’s digital presence to enhance reputation and drive brand awareness
• Analysing, tracking and measuring performance of social media and web channels

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A sound understanding of current and emerging trends within content marketing, with experience in developing content and distributing across multiple channels.
• Ability to produce content that adheres to overarching strategic brand guidelines (e.g. tone, style and language).
• Proven experience in working across multiple platforms, including web, social, photography and videography, while being able to adapt to various target audiences for a range of purposes.
• Search engine optimisation (SEO) skills to ensure that all website content is optimised for search engines.
• Demonstrated experience working with web content management systems, and proficiency in web analytics technologies, with the ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data.
• A strong digital mindset with demonstrated experience using contemporary digital tools, including analytics and customer sentiment tools.
• A customer-centric mindset and an understanding of the disciplines of User Experience (UX) Design.
