AddressMarketing and Communications Coordinator
Part time 25 hours over 5 days (school hours) or 3 full days per week
The Australian Dental Association - South Australian Branch, has been supporting our professional dentists since 1927.
We have a dynamic and evolving membership – ranging from university students starting their careers, through to members who have been serving the South Australian community for over 50 years.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual on a flexible part-time basis, to work from our King William Road office. We need the right person who can develop and implement an engaging Marketing and Communications product to our members and the public.
Working as part of a small autonomous team, the successful applicant will provide outstanding internal customer service to contribute to increasing attendance at Member events, increase membership, improve member engagement and servicing partnerships. They will work with the Team on the development and implementation of a modern marketing strategy.
This is a hands-on role - both developing a plan and implementing in full.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief Executive and Communications Committee to proactively promote ideas for the acquisition, retention and growth of existing Members.
- Planning and executing short, medium and long term marketing plans.
- Coordinate a consistent approach to website, social media, and promotional activities that highlight our strengths and values.
- Monitor and report on our marketing activities and provide well-written and relevant reports and information.
- Innovative thinking and generating ideas for distribution via weekly EDMs, Socials, Website, prints and other media platforms.
- Work collaboratively with a small team with competing deadlines and produce results beyond its size.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, plan, execute and maintain all Marketing and Communications collateral including digital marketing campaigns, website content, advertising, editorials, brochures, media releases, project-specific communications, and event materials.
- Create, review and revise content to ensure all communications and collateral are consistent and meet style guidelines to achieve agreed outcome.
- Copywriting and editing.
- Work with the Chief Executive to assist in the development implementation of the Marketing Plan.
- Work with the Team to plan marketing activities/campaigns based on the agreed and approved Marketing Plan.
- Social media engagement, answering direct comments and nurturing our social media.
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:
- A Diploma or Bachelor of Marketing or similar qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing and/or digital roles.
- Copywriting, editing, content creation and proofreading skills.
- Experience with EDMs, website CMS and social media platforms
- Strong attention to detail.
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop).
- Self-motivated, time management skills and results oriented.
- Graphic design experience (preferred but not essential).
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
