The ideal fit:
- Plan and facilitate content curation across social media and digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, EDM and websites, in line with LYCON’s brand messaging, campaign objectives and overall marketing goals.
- Build on the existing social media and marketing strategy in partnership with CEO and Head of Marketing.
- Daily monitoring of LYCON’s social media platforms to build the brands social media presence and responsive customer service across all channels.
- Work collaboratively with in-house Graphic Designers to plan and produce visually engaging social media and campaign related content.
- Conduct research of market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor landscape.
- Communicate timelines and deliverables to the team and monitor such.
- Plan events, trade show involvement as necessary, coordinate mailing lists and follow tasks to completion.
- Assist with copywriting across all touchpoints in the LYCON tone of voice.
- Influencer outreach and PR.
- Build strong and successful working relationships with key stakeholders in Australia and internationally.
What you will need:
This position requires someone who is hands-on and has relevant knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to liaise at all levels with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- You are friendly, honest, polite and reliable with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
- You have a creative flair, eagerness to share new ideas.
- Experience with creative copy writing, social media management and advertising.
- You are open-minded and adaptable.
- Relevant qualifications in marketing and communications, and passion for content coordination.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and ability to write for SEO is desirable.
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in social media and online marketing.
- Good eye for detail and ability to create a strong aesthetic in line with brand identity.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and execute content creation ideas from end to end.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Some graphic design experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Some Photography experience is an advantage.
- Videoing and video editing experience is an advantage.
