SMAART Recruitment has partnered with a prominent NDIS organisation to seek a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to join their Melbourne CBD team.In this position you will play a pivotal role in the marketing department of this company. You will work together with an external marketing team, but will soon be able to really make this role your own. Tasks include market research, developing marketing materials, as well as managing different marketing channels, ensuring a strong market presence and amplifying company growth.This company’s mission is to provide exceptional support services that empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Their friendly, small, and close-knit team is dedicated to providing exceptional individualised care, for NDIS participants to maintain more independence within the aged care and disability sector.Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, coordinate, and/or implement marketing strategies to increase awareness
- Create content for various (digital) channels (social media, website, email newsletters, and print)
- Collaborate with internal team and external parties such as clients, to gather information for content creation
- Manage social media accounts (content creation, scheduling, monitoring and responding)
- Market research and trends to identify/create opportunities
- Analyse and report on the performance of marketing efforts
- Ad hoc administrative duties relating to marketing and supporting the additional team
- Part-time position: 24 hours per week
- Hours are flexible between Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Salary: $35.00-45.00 per hour + super (depending on experience)
- Stable, long-term opportunity - Advertised salary is based on casual employment, the intention is for this role to become a permanent part-time position within 3-6 months upon commencement

- Previous experience in a similar role in marketing, communications, or content creation
- Education in marketing, media, communication, or related field – or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the disability, non for profit, or healthcare sector highly regarded, but not needed to apply
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, are a must
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient understanding of MS Suite, and affinity with marketing tools and software
