The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to focus on organisation-wide communications activities across multiple platforms, including traditional and online. You will be exposed to a diversified portfolio of tasks and projects that will provide you with experience across the broader spectrum of communications and marketing activities within a corporate environment, including:
- Assisting marketing, communications, and medical managers with planning and Communications, Marketing and publishing activities
- Preparing internal and external EDM campaigns through MailChimp or similar platform
- Providing analytics to relevant departments and / or the CEO following EDM distributions
- Website content management, ensuring consistent updates with new content and managing Word Press / HTML functions
- Management of internal communications projects
- Basic graphic design and video editing tasks using Adobe assets and / or Photoshop
- Working with relevant staff in the regulatory department, assisting with the development, preparation and publishing of submissions
- Preparing and distributing a monthly staff newsletter
- Communications and marketing department administrative duties
- Supporting and/or leading planning and execution of congress booths or other company representation at these events
What we are looking for
You will have:
- Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations or a marketing related area
- Experience with digital scheduling and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
- Basic Adobe Suite experience, specifically Photoshop (desired but not essential)
- A sound understanding of marketing principles and best practice
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with accuracy and good attention to detail
- Digital marketing experience and in-depth knowledge of social media platforms is desirable
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers
- A passion for creative content development and basic graphic design capabilities
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and complete work within established deadlines
