We are passionate about sharing the fascinating stories of these attractions, through authentic experiences, with the thousands of people who visit each year from all over the world.
We are looking for a creative individual to join our marketing team as Marketing and Events Officer.
The BHA Marketing and Events Officer will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and analysis, such as market trends and demographics.
- Helping to conceptualise and deliver new experiences.
- Assisting with the development and coordination of BHA’s program of events from end-to-end.
- Acting as BHA’s ‘brand ambassador’ to promote and oversee the correct use of BHA’s Style Guides.
- Maintaining and updating BHA’s image and video libraries.
- Preparing media communications and liaising with media agencies.
- Assisting in the implementation of advertising campaigns across various media, including both traditional and digital platforms.
- Implementing a content strategy which grows and increases the engagement of BHA’s social media accounts.
- Assisting in the optimisation of BHA’s official websites to increase interaction and sales conversion.
- Automating, coordinating and growing BHA’s email subscription databases and automated feedback surveys.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A degree or diploma qualification in marketing, communications, tourism or related a discipline. Or, relevant experience in marketing – preferably in the tourism, hospitality, events or festival industries.
- A creative mind and be a grammatically apt wordsmith, with an ability to compose communications across a range of digital and traditional channels, to a variety of diverse audiences.
- Relevant experience coordinating and implementing a calendar of events.
- High level organisation and time management skills, with proven attention to detail.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite with knowledge in content management systems, Google analytics, ad words and data visualisation.
