Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and policies to satisfy the company's sales target and customer loyalty.
- Provides short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
- Develops marketing and sales strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future need.
- Identifies new marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, competitor's share and competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
- Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on market opportunities.
- Improve marketing and sales effectiveness by continually identifying short-term and long-range issues that existed and recommend for suitable solutions.
- Organising and controlling sales activities by setting product mix, sales destination countries, customer target and product quality standards. • Increase market share by developing targeted marketing plans and programs for each product.
- Directing the development of campaigns for marketing and sales initiatives for the promotion of new products.
- Manage the expenditures for annual sales and marketing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing team effectively for achieving company’s sales targets and performance.
- Maintain effective communication within the company especially with directors, managers of other department to ensure smooth internal cooperation.
- Maintain and develop relationships with business partners including key clients, suppliers and distributors by organising various business activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Requirements:
• At least 10 years working experience in the milk powder trading industry.
• At least 8 years of proven working experience as a Marketing Manager.
• Must have both Australian and overseas marketing experience and familiar with overseas infant formula markets.
• Must have an extensive level of knowledge & understanding of international trade.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Have excellent time management skills and abilities.
• Have creative thinking skills and excellent team management skills.
• Flexible working on modified schedules and/or alternative hours to meet marketing and sales deadline requirements
