About the role
This role reports to the Group Head of Marketing and involves working within a dynamic team of 9 to drive the development and execution of our marketing strategies, with a significant focus on the Brighten business. Additionally, the role involves a high level of collaboration with other departments, such as Sales and Products, to promote our innovative products and lending solutions to our extensive broker network.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objective
- Work with a team of specialists to plan, execute and manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Create compelling and relevant content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and communication materials.
- Optimise online presence to generate leads and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance metrics, and implement improvements accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Planning exhibitions, events and corporate conferences.
- Provide marketing support to the business as required.
About you
This role requires a professional, confident, and highly organised person. To be successful in this fast-paced role, you will possess the following:
- Job-specific skills, qualifications, and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing within the financial services sector, preferably in lending or banking.
- Strong understanding of the Australian financial market and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Inter-personal skills:
- A team player who demonstrates enthusiasm, resilience and ethical behaviour
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, a mature positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
