We are seeking a passionate Marketing Manager to join our mission of reshaping non-bank lending in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services marketing, a deep understanding of the Australian lending landscape, and a passion for creating effective campaigns that resonate with our partners and customers.

Brighten Home Loans ("Brighten") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of an alternative asset manager Real Asset Management Group.  

Brighten is an Australian-owned and regulated non-bank lender with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Manila.

About the role

This role reports to the Group Head of Marketing and involves working within a dynamic team of 9 to drive the development and execution of our marketing strategies, with a significant focus on the Brighten business. Additionally, the role involves a high level of collaboration with other departments, such as Sales and Products, to promote our innovative products and lending solutions to our extensive broker network.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objective
• Work with a team of specialists to plan, execute and manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
• Create compelling and relevant content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing collateral.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth. 
• Ensure brand consistency across all channels and communication materials.
• Optimise online presence to generate leads and enhance customer engagement.
• Monitor and analyse digital marketing performance metrics, and implement improvements accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.  
• Planning exhibitions, events and corporate conferences. 
• Provide marketing support to the business as required. 
   

About you

This role requires a professional, confident, and highly organised person. To be successful in this fast-paced role, you will possess the following:

• Job-specific skills, qualifications, and experience:
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing within the financial services sector, preferably in lending or banking.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian financial market and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

  • A team player who demonstrates enthusiasm, resilience and ethical behaviour 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, a mature positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
