About Toowoomba Hospital Foundation
First established in 1991, Toowoomba Hospital Foundation (THF) raises funds in support of Darling Downs Health through the provision of medical equipment, resources, facility enhancements, patient programs, staff training and development, and research across 29 hospitals and health service facilities.
About the role
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing a brand-aligned marketing strategy and leading a team in delivering multi-channel, innovative marketing initiatives across all of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic and brand-appropriate marketing strategy for THF, Wellbean Co, Patient Accommodation, Museum, regional auxiliaries, and future business ventures, formulated to align with business goals
- Manage the marketing department budget with a clear focus on expense targets
- Lead the digital maturity of the Foundation through the development and implementation of an outcome-focused digital marketing strategy to support the strategic and financial goals of the Foundation.
- Lead and monitor the creation of marketing content from the marketing team
- Manage external advertising
- Develop, implement and manage an overall strategy for public relations for the organisation that seeks to maximise outcomes as measured by both brand and financial KPIs.
- Achieve strategic brand objectives by acting as the custodian of the brand with the Foundation through the execution of the brand strategy and regular review and maintenance of the brand strategy and related policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Director of Fundraising to ensure clear communication and shared direction
- Lead, mentor, and manage all direct reports to ensure core financial and business development KPIs are achieved for planned activities.
- Proactively develop relationships with key stakeholders and providers ensuring value to the THF
- Prepare regular reports detailing current and planned activities for management and the Board
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
- Ability to lead a team of marketing professionals
- Proven planning, logistics, and production skills
- Experience in briefing and working with suppliers
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, including experience in budget management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage various projects concurrently
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and ability to build rapport quickly with others in a professional manner
- Ability to follow policies and procedures with a strong focus on quality control
- Positive attitude and creative approach to solving problems
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional level of oral and written communication skills and ability to write reports
- Current driver’s licence
Demonstrated experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years experience).
Relevant certificates or degree qualifications in marketing, communications, or public relations are required.
