About the role

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our Jay Jays team! Reporting into the General Manager – Marketing, this position is responsible for developing the brand’s marketing content strategy, in line with the overarching brand direction across the AU & NZ markets.

You will be responsible for managing the execution of end-to-end marketing and brand activities that resonate with our existing Jay Jays customer whilst also attracting new customers to the brand.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Group General Manager of Jay Jays, Brand Merchandise leaders and the GM Marketing develop and communicate the promotional calendar
• Develop the brand strategy to align with the merchandise strategy
• Lead a team of two and manage the Social Media and Online channels to ensure effective communication with the Jay Jays customer
• Management of all agencies to ensure high standard of creative work and effective use of resources available
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management including talent management
• Create and manage the marketing budget for Jay Jays
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with VM, Merchandising, Graphics and Planning teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years in retail marketing, preferably fast fashion
• Relevant tertiary degree in Marketing/eCommerce advantageous
• Social marketing experience key – identifying trends and creating content that cuts through!
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans
• Commercially minded and strategic thinker to identify new marketing opportunities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• A natural leader who can inspire and cultivate a strong team culture
