Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter with strong communication skills to join our Sales and Marketing team. The Relationship Manager role is regionally located and reports to the Manager, Grower Marketing.
You will be responsible for managing existing grower relationships and developing new ones through understanding of individual farming needs and sugar marketing requirements. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, doesn't need close supervision and loves being on farms.

The successful applicant
The ideal candidate will:
Manage a portfolio of existing grower relationships to meet sugar marketing needs including:
Providing education and assistance to growers of existing sugar pricing mechanisms including forward pricing, pooling options and cashflow management tools.
Providing growers with a high-level understanding of the sugar price outlook through market analysis and presentation of Wilmar research
Providing a personalised service to growers through on farm visits and being the primary point of contact for all marketing related needs
Actively promoting Wilmar's sugar pricing and marketing offerings to growers who do not currently market with Wilmar.
Identify and develop value added products and services to advance grower profitability through better marketing outcomes.
Represent Wilmar in the broader sugar cane community by engaging industry stakeholders in the understanding of sugar pricing, attending industry related field days and participating in community events.
Qualifications/experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications (agriculture, business, finance, economics) or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated experience or interest in managing grower accounts in a competitive market environment with some exposure to origination, commodity markets, risk management and forward pricing.
Ability to build constructive relationships by effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external customers.
Strong team ethic with a passion for agriculture
