Marketing Specialist- 4-5 Month Contract
Marketing Specialist, 4-5 Month contract, must be immediately available, lots of wfh available. However, you must be comfortable going to the Wollongong office 1-2 per week.
Are you a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for e-commerce and a heart for making a difference? We are seeking a Temporary Marketing Specialist to join this amazing organisation, working on both B2B and B2C and connecting in meaningful ways. Your main responsibility will be to develop and undertake actions required to increase brand awareness, engagement, and commercial growth.
Your new role
This role focusses on some key aspects for this organisation:
1. e-commerce Marketing:
- Develop and execute B2B and B2C e-commerce strategies for the online store and range of products.
- Plan and implement marketing efforts to maximise exposure for an event based on the products/hampers etc (early - mid-July).
2. Marketing Campaigns/Social Media Calendar Development:
- Create and manage a Marketing Campaign/Social Media Calendar that aligns with and supports the achievement of our Marketing Plans and Brand Kit Identities.
- Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all social media platforms and marketing channels, with an understanding of our target audiences and appropriate language for written content in the disability sector.
- Oversee content going out on various channels and work alongside the marketing officer to help guide best practice in this area.
3. Marketing for the organisation's service and supports
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the organisations services/supports and businesses.
- Focus on driving awareness and engagement for areas-this organisation covers various areas within their business, and it is important that you can create marketing materials for each area.
- You will also be creating marketing plans and writing for a new skill related programme launching right now.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing partnerships for this programme.
4. Identify Marketing Opportunities:
- Identify and advise on areas where marketing efforts can better support the wider organisation.
- Develop strategies to attract new participants and increase commercial sales in our social enterprises.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in e-commerce. Experience in social enterprises/start-ups is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- The ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that lead to increased sales.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the disability sector and experience in promoting inclusive employment is a plus.
This is a temporary position with an organisation that has a purpose in supporting people with a disability and ensuring they achieve amazing things. You will be making a difference and ensuring the best marketing material is going out to the public. We need someone who also shares this passion. It is a small team, they are very collaborative and supportive. You help one another out when needed and work on a range of marketing collateral.
