That makes us the most experienced and knowledgeable provider of low vision services in South Australia. But our range of services is also what makes us stand apart. We’re the largest provider in South Australia, offering people who are blind or have low vision support that ranges from assistance dogs to assistive technologies.
The opportunity
See Differently is looking for a Marketing Specialist who will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate high-quality leads and drive business growth. You will bring a combination of creativity, curiosity and innovation to the role, as well as using data to make good decisions about the evolution of marketing activity to support increased referrals to our health services, understanding of our different service areas, and supporting fundraising efforts for our leading guide and assistance dog program.

As a senior leader in the organisation, your duties will include:
- Developing an impactful marketing strategy and plan for the organisation.
- Producing emotive and effective content for a range of audiences and across a range of formats (video, website, email, SMS, newsletters and annual reports)
- Managing See Differently’s social channels and ensuring they are delivering outcomes for the business
- Delivering effective digital marketing campaigns, including working closely with digital marketing agencies and overseeing their delivery of outcomes
- Promoting the different services and events of See Differently to a wide range of client and stakeholder groups
- Involvement in our 2-year transformation program which will deliver new digital capability and customer experiences including a new website, online shop and client communications
- Managing the marketing budget and looking for new ways to drive growth
- Understanding the needs of our clients, including accessibility requirements, and giving a voice to our clients through advocacy
- Ensuring services are delivered within quality certification, contractual and legislative requirements
- Contributing to senior management team performance and effectiveness by working collaboratively with other managers to ensure cross-organisational goals are set and implemented
Your skills and expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing role with a focus on content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to create visually appealing content using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
- Ability to create clear project briefs and manage creative and digital agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and respond effectively to a wide range of competing work-related issues.
- Strong networking skills, with the capacity to represent See Differently to other service providers, and the general community.
- Business acumen - the ability to read and comprehend financial data, assimilate complex information, and be involved in decision-making.
