Job DescriptionAs an ASD Tug Master, you are responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel and crew. You will:
- Supervise crew members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate records and maintenance reports.
- Adhere to all relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Participation in skills and competency training including the training of other crew members, and trainees
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional maritime knowledge, and a dedication to safety.
QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity:The successful applicant(s) must hold a current AMSA Certificate of Competency, AMSA Medical and MSIC.The position(s) are FIFO in/out of Cairns or local/resident to Weipa.Successful applicants will be required to satisfy a company pre-employment medical, client inductions and drug and alcohol screening.Where appropriate, training will be provided as part of your job.
