Our client AGL are seeking an experienced Master scheduler to join them on a contract basis. This is a Melbourne based hybrid role initially for a six months duration with a potential to extend for longer.

Key purpose of this role (and team)
Retail Transformation aims to establish a customer-centric, digital, lean, and flexible business that is underpinned by leading modular technology and embedding best practice ways of working. We will deliver simplification, digitisation, and effortless experiences utilising a hybrid of waterfall and agile methodology.
The Program Management Office (PMO) provides centralised governance, cadence, reporting, standard processes, and general program support. As the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling of activities on the large-scale transformation program.
You will have:
- Proficient in Scheduling Tools: Extensive experience using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools) to develop and manage complex project schedules.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess schedule data, identify trends, anticipate potential risks and issues to propose effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, articulate scheduling information, and influence decision-making processes.
- Project Management Expertise: Comprehensive understanding and experience of project management principles, encompassing agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Brings prior experience working in hybrid delivery environments.
- Proven experience in large scale transformation initiatives driving multiple streams of technical delivery.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle conflicts, and proactively address scheduling challenges in a dynamic project environment.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in scheduling activities and data management.
- Time and Priority Management: Exceptional ability to self-manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively within project schedules to meet deadlines and goals.
