AddressMatch Day Social Media Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen to join our Match Day Social Media team at the Melbourne Cricket Club in the role of Match Day Social Media Coordinator. Reporting to the Social Media Specialist, the goal of this role is to:
- Deliver high quality customer service and information through monitoring Social Media channels on Match Day.
- Contribute to post-match report which summarises issues and highlights.
- Monitor generic email addresses and provide high quality customer service and information in response.
Due to the nature of the role this casual position will be required to work on event days (including weekends) during the course of the year.
This role would suit someone highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Someone with experience in delivering a high level of customer service to customers or patrons while also having experience in delivering customer service in the written medium.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
- Experience in contributing content to Social Media and websites.
- Experience in preparing written reports.
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
- Creative lateral thinking with strong research and writing skills.
- Technologically savvy with advanced computer skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- An appreciation of Australia’s cultural heritage and sporting history.
