The Position

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics teacher to join our outstanding faculty and to inspire our students through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

There is a responsibility for planning relevant and engaging learning experiences, demonstrating a high level of curriculum knowledge, using appropriate assessment tools and recording student progress through the School’s online management system (SEQTA). The position requires applicants to have the ability to develop inclusive learning environments, foster positive relationships and to communicate with staff, students, and parents in a timely and respectful manner. 

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Be qualified to teach Year 7-12 Mathematics and Science if possible.
• Have the ability to demonstrate high quality interpersonal skills and teaching practices.
• Commit to the Schools values of Respect, Responsibility, Inclusivity and Perseverance. 
• Experience in differentiating for students of varying ability.
• Ability to build relationships with students.
• Excellent class management skills.
• Understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies.
• A commitment to collaborative teaching practices and an ability to contribute to a team and faculty of professional educators.
• A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively across a broad range of audiences.
• Hold and maintain a Working with Children Check and TRBWA registration.
• Have a good knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.
