Position: Mechanical Asset Engineer
Start: Immediate
Location: Penrith – Blue Mountains area
- Hybrid WFH and Office role
- $100 per hour + Super
Our government client is seeking a Mechanical Asset Engineer to assist with planned asset investigations on water infrastructure in the Penrith and Blue Mountains area. There is flexibility to work from home, but candidates must be available to work in the office or complete site trips when required.
The work scope includes defining asset requirements, technical investigations, asset assessments, options development, options analysis, project scope and technical specification development.
To be successful, you will require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and suitable relevant experience
- Eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia
- Current NSW driver’s Licence
- Knowledge of MECHANICAL ASSETs such as large industrial mechanical drive systems, pumps, pipeline assets, valves, industrial hydraulics and cranes
- Knowledge of automation and controls requirements as applied to large mechanical drive and pipeline and pumping systems
This is a 12-month contract with the potential to be extended.
