Mechanical Engineer

We currently have multiple opportunities for a Mechanical Engineers on a contract basis across Melbourne. Ranging from

• Drafters with Baseline Clearance
• Mechanical Engineer with HVAC & Baseline Clearance
• Mechanical Systems Engineer (Protection Engineer)With NV1 Clearance
• Structural Engineer with NV1 Clearance.

The Mechanical Engineers/Designers required will have a broad understanding of mechanical systems, Design for manufacturing and product development including the use of CAD tools. The roles will work in close collaboration with engineering teams including system engineers, electrical engineers, structural engineers, as well as production personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage requirements for systems, sub-systems and product components.
• Undertake tasks in all phases of the product development.
• complete tasks and analysis across the Systems and Product Development Lifecycle
• Experience in 2D & 3D CAD using AutoCAD or similar packages (SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, REVIT, etc.)
• Ensure relevant hardware design and testing is documented.

Skills

• Relevant Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated competency in mechanical design
• Demonstrate an understanding of complex engineering drawings diagrams and specifications
• Experience or understanding of ISO9001 quality systems

Other Details

• 6 -12 Month contract position with possible extensions
• ASAP Start date
• Based in Melbourne.
• Security Clearance required Baseline or NV1
