We are looking for full time Mechanical Engineering Technician with minimum 3 years of experience. The annual salary is between $70,000 to $80,000. Our business is located at Wangara, WA 6065.
About the Role
We require a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our service centre based in Wangara.
· Assisting Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant.
· Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
· Determining tool selection and equipment for allocated job project.
· Performing and/or directing mechanical equipment reporting and testing.
· Collecting, analysing, and reporting data, conducting complex calculations and interpretation of diagrams.
· Inspections and maintenance of machines and plant equipment.
· Ensure finished works are within specifications, regulations, and contract stipulations.
· Establishing standards according to mechanical and engineering principles and safety regulations.
· Assemble new or overhauled equipment as per specifications.
· Participate and contribute to daily toolbox meetings, Safety toolbox and other meetings.
· Contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives and towards the achievement of company’s operational objectives.
