Our client is a leading world gold company with world class assets producing gold, copper, silver, zinc, and lead, both within Australia and internationally.
A Mechanical Project Engineer is required at one of their Australian operations, to effectively provide engineering support to the owners’ sustaining capital projects team.
Reporting to the Project Manager key responsibilities include:
- Review drawings, data sheets, scopes & specifications.
- Manage mechanical quality documentation.
- Develop and review scope documentation.
- Liaise with Engineering Providers on technical and design queries.
- Assist with the development & review of project documentation.
- Provide mechanical technical advice and support.
To be successful you will possess a relevant degree, preferably mining or mineral processing related, with relevant experience in construction & execution of projects. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are also required. A manual driver’s license is essential.
The position offers a negotiable FIFO roster from Darwin, Perth or Brisbane with competitive remuneration.
