Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering projects
Play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating mechanical engineering projects, overseeing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting client requirements.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
- Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
- Coordinate designs and drafts people
- Review progress and schedule
- Adhere to all Engineering and Project Design policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements
Education and Experience:
- Industry related higher education degree
- At least 5 years of minerals process plant design experience
- Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
- Work in a team environment. Allocate work to others and monitor the progress thereof
Skills and Abilities
- High level communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
- Ability to produce study estimates
- Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
- Knowledge of databases and version control
- Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of Clients through business development
- Willingness to travel if required
