We are looking for a skilled and motivated Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our client, a local council based in Sydney's North Shore.
The Opportunity
In this exciting 6-month contract role, you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic communications across a range of platforms. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure all council messaging is consistent, effective, and resonates with residents and stakeholders.
Here's what you'll do:
- Develop engaging and informative communications content across multiple platforms, including social media
- Manage the development and production of promotional materials
- Craft clear and concise written content for internal and external audiences
- Work collaboratively with council departments to gather information and develop targeted communication strategies
- Solid experience in a communications or marketing role within local government
- A proven ability to write and edit compelling content for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in social media management platforms is a plus
