Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced Media and Government Relations professional to fill their short-term temporary vacancy. This is a temporary contract for 7 weeks. This role is a great opportunity to work with a well-known government authority.

Your new role 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating media materials such as social media, responding to media enquiries, and drafting media statements.
• Organising media interviews
• Participating in Government Relations and issues management

What you'll need to succeed 

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

• Demonstrated experience in media relations
• Experience in both internal and external communications
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
