About the role
This is a full time position, based on site in Caulfield North, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a experienced, team orientated Senior Medical Administrator, who is excited to be part of the growth of our practice and an integral part of our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- The overall management of the practice, ensuring it operates smoothly on a daily basis
- Liaising across our team of Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals
- Managing operative theatre lists
- Answering incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Appointment bookings and diary management
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Payment taking and receipting
- Interacting with patients in a sensitive and timely fashion
The successful candidate will:
- Offer our patients the highest level of customer service as our patients go through a demanding journey
- Have immaculate presentation
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Work autonomously using your initiative, flexibility, and integrity
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have advanced computer skills and experience using a variety of software
