As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive and efficient experience.
What You'll Do:
- Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar with precision to optimize patient flow.
- Process payments and Medicare rebates, assist with billing inquiries, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain patient records and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with medical staff, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, empathetic approach.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in medical office software and scheduling systems (Genie, Shexie ideally)
- Prior experience in a Medical Receptionist role preferred but not mandatory
- Drivers license and reliable vehicle -essential
The successful candidate will work across consulting rooms in Box Hill, East Melbourne and Heidelberg on Mon, Tues and Wed (days not negotiable)
9am -5pm or 930am -530pm minimum 3 days per week.
