Dr Brett Daniels is an established solo private obstetrician and gynaecologist practice. We provide a sensitive, caring and discreet reproductive health health service to women of all ages and backgrounds. Services include pregnancy and birth care, fertility and family planning and gynaecological problems and surgery. Many of our patients have attended the practice for many years. Our team is small, stable and supportive. Above all we are centred on providing care to our patients whatever their needs.
Qualifications & experience
- Experienced Medical receptionist and practice assistant required for busy solo obstetrician and gynaecologist.
- Ability to work with medical software including Genie or similar. Experience with surgical booking and billing including Eclipse
- Ability to work independently to provide high quality health care to women and commitment to practice philosophy.
- Experience in general medical practice support procedures
Tasks & responsibilities
- First contact for all patients with a requirement to flexibly respond to a rapidly evolving clinical environment. The practice provides a complete range of services in women’s reproductive health and the successful applicant will be sensitive and committed to providing care to women.
- Perform all billing and procedure booking tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Be comfortable with modern specialist medical software including Genie and Eclipse.
- Assist with practice clinical preparation including sterilisation of equipment (training provided).
- Have some flexibility to adapt to work practices as may be required by emerging clinical demands.

- Initially this position is to be offered on a regular three day per week basis. The ability to work flexible work hours and provide leave cover for other staff would be considered favourably.
