This permanent part time position is a unique opportunity for an individual with outstanding customer service skills to join the team working at Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) Gold Coast.
This pivotal role provides the front line of our IVF clinics and has the responsibility of guiding our patients through administrative and financial aspects of treatment with QFG. Rosters may cover Monday to Saturday.
Role Responsibilities:
- Admin duties at our Gold Coast IVF Clinics at Benowa
- Conduct individualised patient quotations and billing.
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Update and manage patient information database.
- Answer high volume of incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide support and assistance for patients.
- Receipting, daily bank reconciliation and invoicing
- Liaise regularly across all departments (accounts, nursing, counsellors, laboratory) and with Specialists/Medical Secretaries
Skills & Experience:
- Previous customer service experience preferably in a medical setting
- Impeccable communication skills (verbal and written) and a courteous phone manner.
- Office administration and/or accounts receivable
- Sound working knowledge of database systems.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality
- The ability to build rapport with patients.
- Empathetic and supportive nature
- Knowledge of IVF (desirable)
