Dr. Jane Nguyen and her team at ProMind Care are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join their growing practice in Sandringham, Victoria.
- Part-time position, 4 days a week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with view to full-time as the practice grows, plus 2 optional Saturdays a month (Saturdays will be compensated appropriately)
About our practice
Dr Jane Nguyen is a consultant psychiatrist specialising in the comprehensive assessment and management of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder in women. She provides psychiatric assessment and management for patients aged 14 and older. Her other areas of interest are mood disorders, anxiety disorders including OCD and eating disorders.
Role responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Handling general medical administration and reception tasks
- Upholding patient confidentiality at all times
- Referral triage
- Scheduling appointments
- Appointment billing and Medicare claiming
- Maintaining a paperless office
- Dictaphone typing
Selection criteria
- Previous experience in a medical practice is preferred but not essential
- Exceptional phone manner and customer service
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Reliability and a solid work ethic
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
- Ability to work well in a team and multi-task
