Position: Casual Receptionist

Company: Gold Coast Dermatology Clinic

Location: Mermaid Waters, QLD

Your shift availability: Are you available to do our open and close shifts of 730am start or finishing at 5pm  

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and warm demeanor, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Register new patients, update existing patient information, and schedule appointments using our computerized system.

Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and assistance.

Coordinate and manage patient flow, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal wait times.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects our commitment to excellence and professionalism.

Assist dermatologists and other staff members with administrative tasks as required.

Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts.

Follow practice protocols and ensure compliance with privacy regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is desirable.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and warm disposition.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle a high volume of patient interactions with efficiency and grace.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Initiative-driven, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
