AddressYou will be joining our friendly team to provide world-class Ophthalmic care to patients.
We are looking at casual appointment starting from 2 to 3 days a week to assist in Ophthalmology / Specialist Clinic. There may be opportunity for more days for the right candidate.
The primary roles include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients to the practice and registering patient information into electronic health record
- Answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails - also liaise with specialists and colleagues when required
- Scheduling patient appointments and surgery as well as billing through Medicare and health insurance companies
- General office duties
The successful candidate needs to have the following attributes:
- Great team player and friendly to both patients and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills and be able to interact with patients well
- Good computer proficiency
- Previous experience using electronic health records desired (The practice uses Best Practice VIP.net)
- Knowledge of Ophthalmology / Medical Terminology essential
- Attention to details, well organised and time efficient
- Fully COVID vaccinated
