Key Responsibilities
Our specialist practice is looking for motivated medical reception / administration officers. This role is a key part of our administration team, and as such the successful person will be responsible for the following:
- Addressing incoming calls, redirecting, and managing client enquiries.
- Appointment bookings
- Managing reception desk.
- Strong computer literacy inclusive of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Preparation of patient files and relevant paperwork.
- Working with staff from other areas of the business as directed.
- Preparation and distribution of medical correspondence.
- Accurately transcribing dictations and correspondence from audio files
- Clerical tasks as required.
Hours:
- Full time, Part Time or Casual hours available
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends, public holidays or overtime required
Special requirements
- Medical administration experience preferred.
- High level verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in typing skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks and clinic deadlines.
- The ability to work independently, as well as a team.
