We are a busy cardiology practice looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team for front of house reception at our Cabrini Malvern and Camberwell Junction rooms.
Full time available, however part time will be considered.
Responsibilities include(but not limited to):
- Meet and greet patients on arrival
- Manage outpatient consulting sessions - booking of appointments, following up results, reports, and correspondence
- Attend to incoming calls, efaxes, and emails
- Scanning and electronic filing of incoming correspondence, reports, and referrals
- Manage Invoicing, receipting for outpatient consulting sessions
- Liaise with GP’s, Specialists and other health professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records using Gentu software
- Consult Monday afternoons at Camberwell Junction
- Any other adhoc administration tasks as directed by the Specialist and Practice Manager
Essential Skills:
- Medical Reception/Administration experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail
- High level computer literacy
- Self-motivated with positive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality always

Salary is in accordance with the award, skill level and previous experience
