This permanent role involves working in a busy, friendly specialistCardiology practice in Penrith. If successful you will be involved in telephone and face-to-face bookings of all patient appointments, scanning patient paperwork and making confirmations via SMS and telephone, all using Genie software. Preference will be given to prior Genie users, otherwise Genie training will be provided.
You must be able to courteously welcome patients, assist those needing help and be able to run concurrent clinics using our standard procedures. You will assist in facilitating clinics for our 7 cardiologists, 4 technicians and 1 nurse ensuring their smooth efficient running. You will follow the strict hygiene protocols of our practice. Preference will also be given to applicants who have specialist reception experience and excellent clear written and verbal communication.
It is essential for you to have excellent proficiency using computers, clear friendly telephone skills, and experience in Specialist Medical administration and reception. Typing and specialist medical terminology knowledge will be given preference.

Hours are:
Mondays - Fridays: 8-5:30pm, 4 or 5 days per week, dependent on both the applicant and our practice. Some Saturdays 8-2:30pm.
Ability to cover during sick leave, annual leave including some Saturdays is absolutely essential.
