The centre provides general practice care to individuals and families. We also see lots of babies and children. We strive to provide a friendly atmosphere for our patients, and actively prioritise and triage our patients to ensure they access medical services efficiently and (as much as possible) on time.

About the role
As a Medical Receptionist, you are the face of the medical practice, therefore you must also have excellent communication skills, and be able to relate to patients in a personable and professional manner.
You would also need to be comfortable and efficient in the use of computers, phones/ mobile handset and handling documents via scanning or faxing or shredding.
Ability to multi- task is essential as you would be attending a busy "front desk" including welcoming patients to our centre, answering phones, triaging patient appointments, supporting the medical staff and doing general administration duties. Your duties will also include cleaning and stock taking/ ordering.

After an initial 3 months as a casual on probation, you have the possibility of longer term employment position as a part time or full time permanent
Skills and experience
Previous reception experience (using medical software Best Practice), working in a general practice centre
Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese (or both)
Good communication skills
