AddressMacquarie OMS is a well established specialist practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, located the CBD of Sydney.
There are three specialists surgeons, each on a 4 week rotating roster, and one Oral Medicine specialist. Our practice is relocating and we are looking for an additional staff member to assist with reception with occasional surgical assisting duties on a full or part time basis. Flexible work options are possible.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Scheduling patient consultations
- Managing digital and paper patient communication
- Liaising with referring practices and hospitals
- Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
- Patient invoicing and receipting
- Assisting surgical procedures from time to time. Training can be provided.
To be successful for this position you will:
- Have previous experience working for a surgeon or dentist or medical professional
- Be self-motivated and able to work within a team as well as autonomously.
- Have high quality computer skills and have worked with practice management software (Genie or Gentu would be ideal)
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
