SalaryA prestigious solo psychiatry practice located in Sydney CBD is seeking a casual Medical Receptionist. This is a great opportunity for an autonomous, organised and friendly individual with previous experience as a Medical Receptionist.
Candidates will need to be available to work 1 or 2 days per week, 8:30am – 5:45pm.
Preferred qualities include:
- Polite, friendly phone manner and welcoming persona as the face of the practice
- Prior knowledge of medical software such as Pracsoft preferred
- Prior experience with processing Medicare claims
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy character with sensibility regarding patient confidentiality
General duties include:
- Answering phone calls, phone messages, and responding to emails
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Issuing accounts and receiving/processing payments
- Cash handling
- Banking duties
- Stocking office stationery
- Filing
- Keeping the office tidy and well maintaine
