Medical Receptionist

We require a permanent part time medical secretary and if you want to join a busy specialist medical practice then this is the job for you. Required to work from 8am Monday to Friday, approximately 28 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Actioning incoming phone calls, letters and faxes

• Scheduling a variety of patient appointments and investigations

• Patient reception, billing and receipting for consulting 

• Liaising with patients, referring doctors, hospitals and insurers 

• Billing

To be successful in your application you must have:

1. Experience in medical reception work and medical software usage (Genie).

2. Ability to work in a team environment or independently when required

• 3. Excellent organisational skills and initiative
• 4. Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner
• 5. Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
• 6. Excellent attention to detail
