Your Purpose:
As a Medical receptionist / Administrator, you are responsible for providing high quality day-to-day administrative services in order to support service delivery, access, and integration across Down South Therapy.
The position also has a key role in effective customer service, ensuring that all people accessing the service find it accessible, friendly and welcoming.
Specific Accountabilities
- Providing daily administrative support, ensuring incoming phone calls, clients and guests are attended to, in a prompt and courteous manner, and enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively in a confidential and sensitive manner.
- Providing information to clients and their families, and assisting with registration and data entry of new client information and profiles.
- Monitoring and Maintenance of accurate records.
- Processing daily client invoicing and receipting. Assist Discipline Team Leaders with administrative functions and workflow processes.
- Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange across the organisation.
- Assisting the Clinical Services Manager to deliver comprehensive orientation and induction processes for all new staff.
- Ensuring adequate practice supplies of consumables (stationery cleaning supplies etc.)
- Contributing to the integrity of all internal information systems as required, by maintaining data through timely updates and revision of information where required.
- Collecting relevant data to generate reports and measure deliverables using data management systems, continuously improving the delivery of clinical services.
- Participating in relevant training and development activities as an effective team member
- Other duties consistent with the position where required and /or requested by the Clinical Services and HR Managers
You will need to have
- Demonstrated experience in administrative positions in medical/health-related environments
- Strong IT and information management skills, with experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, MYOB (or similar accounting software) a medical Practice Management Software package
- Proven ability to handle high volumes of work, prioritise workloads and meet agreed timeframes.
- Proven positive interpersonal skills to respond appropriately to clients and staff.
- Ability to provide personal administrative support to management.
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
