We are seeking a receptionist to join our Medical and Skin Cancer practice.
The ideal candidate must thrive in a busy, team focused environment, enjoying a role with varied daily duties and is strongly focused on delivering a high standard of care to our patients.
Position: Part-time or casual Medical Receptionist
Start Date: Mid July
Location: Sunbury
Working Hours: 2 days per week (16 hours per week) with the ability to pick up additional shifts; by mutual agreement
Scope of responsibility:
- First point of contact, to provide a high level of customer service on the phone or in person
- Triage and book a large variety of medical appointments
- Process billings
- Completing Doctor and Nurse requests
- Various ad hoc administration requests
A successful applicant will meet the following criteria:
- Excellent people skills
- Excel in handling high-pressure situations
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptable to change
- Medicare knowledge
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Genie knowledge is an advantage
- At least 2 years in a Medical Receptionist position is highly regarded
