This is your opportunity to join Advantage Medical Pty Ltd. We are a General Practice with four current locations in the Mornington Peninsula & Western Port Region.
The location for this position is all sites: Rosebud, Tooradin, Mt Eliza and Hastings. Travel between sites is a must for this position, including sick leave and annual leave if required.
The Role…
We are looking for a Casual (Monday to Friday availability with rotating Saturdays) who aligns with our core values to support our patients on a daily basis. With the support of the Practice Manager you will be an integral part of ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of our busy practice at main reception. Being the face of our company working alongside other receptionists.
Your responsibilities will vary daily, but will include:
- Meeting, greeting and registering patients
- Invoicing & receipting accounts
- Booking & confirming appointments
- Scanning and Faxing
- Supporting our General Practitioners/Nurses
- Liaising with PHI, Medicare, TAC & WorkCover
The shift hours vary based on the operation requirements of the business. Business hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays vary. We are closed public holidays and Sundays.
About You…
- STRONG experience in a Medical Practice/ Reception
- Experience with Best Practice Software
- Excellent Customer Service
- Works well within a team
- Flexibility to cover on short notice
- Must be able to work weekends
- Flexibility to cover leave at our other sites
- You are reliable
- Hold a current Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
- Hold a current CPR certificate

Job Types: Casual, Part-time
Salary: $26.00 – $32.50 per hour
