We are looking for a part-time receptionist who is keen to work with children and their families. The role will be split across our two sites at Merewether and Carrington. We are looking for someone who will be able to grow in their skills and abilities as our organisation grows.
Your role will include:
- Greeting patients on arrival
- Answering phone calls, taking, and passing on patient queries to relevant staff
- Booking appointments
- Scanning documents, reports, referrals and uploading them to the medical record
- Checking the clinic email and responding to incoming emails
- Invoicing appointments through Medicare and EFTPOS
- Sending outgoing correspondence, letters, or fax
- Maintaining the waiting room in good order
Criteria:
- Must have a positive attitude towards working with children and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist
- Ability to apply for Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Computer proficiency
- Able to work effectively within a team
